Girly Girly Gamer Question...
Hello, everyone... As you can tell by the thread title, I am an extremely girly girl in real life... My hair is bright pink and I virtually worship Hello Kitty (NO JOKE)... I'm very artsy fartsy... I have a serious, albeit pathetic in the eyes of most people, question... I request ahead of time that nobody flame me... These things seriously matter to me. ... I cannot decide WHAT in the world would be the girliest character!!!! I mean this armor wise and skill wise!!! I need some major help here as it is actually, embarassingly enough, hindering my enjoyment of the game!!! 1. I want the GIRLY GIRLIEST character possible. I don't mean smutty in any way... I mean GIRLY GIRLY... like somebody would want to dress their doll that way girly, not 'street corner' girl... 2. I want TRUE pink armor... not some nasty brown pink like I've achieved time and time again... If any of you can help me with that, I will be eternally thankful. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share opinions with me - I accept personal emails on my profile. And, once again, if ANYBODY can help me with my dye dilemma... much appreciation. Hearts, Winter (((I remember, when I was in the VERY FIRST beta test for this game... you could dye your hair pink... It looked a lot like this... (I mean EARLY beta... when there was still an in game MAIL function and the menu was on the right side of the screen!): http://www.topolla.net/armor/elementalist/f_04_05/ (I think this screenie is a result of lighting... not the pink hair from beta... anybody know where I can find screenshots of the old pink hair for elementalists anyway??? They need to bring it back!)))) Last edited by Winterlaurel; Aug 23, 2005 at 05:07 AM // 05:07.. |

Hehe.. was that the red hair which showed up pink? My boyfriend had a male ele sporting that colour (and he wants it back) And while I know he's got pics of that, I dunno if they're online or not.
But yeah, out of all the chars, I'd go for a female ele for that girly look... and who knows, maybe after the update, we'll have pink hair back? |

Male necros are definitely the girliest characters. And FYI black dye looks pink on tormentor's armor, but you've gotta dye the whole set to get the effect.
Also, the spell "suffering" has an animation that looks like you're tossing glitter, but it doesn't look like that to you, only everyone else. Sometimes you pirouette when you cast it as well, for extra girliness, but only on the male nec in dyed black (actually pink) tormentor's armor! Male necs get a /ballet emote when they get enough fame. Last edited by Morganas; Aug 23, 2005 at 05:05 AM // 05:05.. |

OOOh! If you can find the screenies of the pink hair, please let me know and I will give you my email address so I can have some. You don't think he would mind, do you? |

And here I was thinking it was the mesmer (male) who had that problem of pirouetting when casting, not the male necro... looks rather gay though, but then, I also want mine to have the pink glittery stuffs Durnham has..
*edit: I'll have a look if its online, if not, will get him to put it up later on. |

Durnham's "pink glittery" is the spell distortion, which the fool spams constantly to the exclusion of everything else. You cannot see him cast it because it's a stance. |

I think a female mesmer with enchanter's armor dyed pink would look pretty girly.

I'd say the female monks are the most girly girls, assuming you give them one of the decent hairstyles.
And don't have them running around in tattoos. |

I have to agree with Rajamic. My guild has a player that has her monk armor dyed pink. It looks cute. She also chose the hair style that looks like pig tails. Very girly.

One of the female mesmer's 15K outfits is a nightie. Dye that pink, and bam.
Plus, most of the spells are purple/pink. |

The girliest is the elementalist, I think. I have one, and she always looks so pretty and feminine. My warrior seems kinda butch, lol.
I also think the monk would look very cute if you dyed her armor pink -- it would kind of look like she's wearing pajamas. Now if you could only get a teddy bear for her offhand item... Good Luck, and post a pic when you've got her finished. |

I think this game is about how your char acts.. not how it frigging looks. It could look as sexy as the sexyes thing in the game. But if she doesn't preform (heh..) then shes about as usefully as a iraqie bomb technitian.

if it's only about how you perform, then show us your character I bet you chose how he looks and what he wears (what colors) or did you just hit the "next" button when creating your character ? (making it random) I don't believe how many people on this forum want others to play exactly how they play... |

Girls with pink hair, are awesome. Do post a picture of yourself!
Here is a dye chart that might help you get the color you want. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...hp?t=25784.com |

Winter,
The female ele has a tendency to be the more alluring of the female characters I've seen since most of the armour shows a fair amount of skin. I think the Monk could be the most tamed, but to get THAT girly girl look you'll need to (a) play around in the character creation screens a lil and then have a look at the build once you've completed it (since it will ultimately be your decision). As for Pink Dye.....haven't tried many color combos but I'm sure it's out there somewhere.....possibly in these forums. |
